I worked on and managed large-scale translation projects from the initial quote and pre-sales phase, completing needs analysis and technical and terminological evaluation, then planning and putting together a team of translators and proof readers and finally providing testing and billing. I managed the website translation project for Repsol into Spanish regional languages, English and Portuguese. The work involved the planning and running of projects, handling costs, translators’ rates, clients’ deadlines and final billing administration work. I also handled the evaluation, assessment and recruiting of translators. My duties included working as a consultant in Repsol managing the English version of the corporate webpage. As well as the translation and proofreading of texts, website testing and quality control, my duties included selecting, compiling, translating and proofreading glossaries and dictionaries for clients and for the company’s machine translation software.
Managing and running English language courses at the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (Spanish Market Securities Regulator). Setting up and managing the language courses, negotiating conditions with the HR department, creating data bases of students, groups, teachers and levels. Managing a team of 6 teachers and over 200 students. Selling and marketing of programme and intensive courses at abroad. Coordinating translations and editing. Consultation for the HR department in recruiting and selection processes for internal and external candidates for international positions. Coordinating language courses in Nokia and Everis. Setting up and managing the language courses, negotiating conditions with the HR department, creating data bases of students, groups, teachers and levels.
Main duties included defining and managing cross-country digital communications, B2B relationship marketing, writing and distributing press releases, corporate communications, internal communications, media relations and brand guardianship. This included coordinating the drafting, editing, design and translation of the company’s Annual Report and the overall management of digital communications through the corporate website including whitepapers, reports, copywriting and transcreation for global marketing initiatives.

Since November of 2011 was responsible for managing and editing the corporate website in 5 languages, heading a team of web content managers and programmers, using a bespoke CMS, writing and editing copy and content for the website, and managing the translations.
Also responsible for coordinating SEO strategy, Google Analytics, managing RFPs and RFIs to suppliers of web services, digital marketing, brand guardianship, web design and translations. One on-going projects was coordinating and monitoring the company’s presence and strategy on social networks across all of its operations.
